Umbrella services

As an umbrella company, we employ temporary workers like yourself and enable you to carry out a number of short or long-term contracts for agencies and end-clients. This allows you to enjoy all the benefits and securities of being in full-time employment.

Limited Company Accountancy services

If your contract is deemed outside of IR35, you have the option of operating through a Limited Company. Through the accountancy branch of our business, we can do everything from acting as your registered address to completing your Self Assessments.

Agency services

As an umbrella company, we work with recruitment agencies and their consultants up and down the country to provide compliant payroll solutions for their contractor workforce. It’s our aim to be one of your preferred partners when it comes to referring your contractors to our services.

CIS services

We’re registered with HMRC for CIS and have gross status. As someone working in the Construction Industry Scheme, we can help prepare your year-end tax return for a small additional cost.

FAQs

The benefit of working with an umbrella company is you get continuous employment regardless of your assignment ending or if you change recruitment agency. You also have employment rights through us.

If British, we will need either a copy of the photo page of your passport or birth certificate and proof of your National Insurance Number (e.g. a payslip, P60 or P45). Any non-British workers would need a copy of their passport and a share code issued by the home office. Terms are issued for you to accept and after we have appropriate ID and the accepted terms, you’re ready to be paid!

Our payroll system is integrated with HMRC, we’re required to ensure all tax payments are made correctly based on your tax code. Tax deductions are made automatically in conjunction with HMRC, we have no manual control over tax deductions and tax code changes come directly from HMRC. This helps ensures there’s no human error when your payroll is processed.

In most instances, you would be paid the Friday following the week you worked. We run several payrolls on a Friday as this is the main payday for 85% of workers, but we do also run at least one payroll a day during the week for payments outside of hours worked, such as sick/maternity pay, rebates, mileage, holiday and any workers who pay an additional fee for “Faster pay.”
